Apple prepares to refresh a range of iPod models

With the popularity and good support for music and video features of the iPhone, iPad, perhaps many people will think that Apple is not interested in iPod product line. However, Apple has shown the reverse when preparing to launch into the market some new iPod models which are upgraded from older versions.

According to Mark GURMAN (via 9to5Mac website), this information is disclosed from an internal source of Apple company. Nano and Shuffle iPod versions will not get any upgrades, in contrast to the case of the iPod Touch. However, all versions of the iPod will be released with three new colors. They are blue, pink and yellow.

The new iPod Touch will receive a series of new upgrades including a camera to catch up with the iPhone 6 and uses a 64-bit chip to prolong battery life and is compatible with the latest iOS versions. This device is also integrated “M” chip to track exercise and pre-installed iOS 8.1, Apple Music.

As expected, the new iPod Touch will be released with a 128 GB version about $ 399, 64 GB version with price about $ 299 and $ 199 for 16 GB version.
