Step one: First off, you need to launch the Google Maps app from your home screen and tap on the menu button located at the top-left corner of the app
Step two: Next up, you now need to tap on the people icon located at the top right corner of the screen. After that, you will be presented with how you want to share your location and tap on Select People at the bottom left to proceed
Step three: Once you are done, choose the person you want to share your location with and hit the Share button
Your friends will then get a notification about your location sharing. They simply tap on the notification to bring up your current location and profile picture.
