Step one: First off, open the Settings on your Mac and select iCloud. Once you are in, sign in with your Apple account and check the box next to Contacts in order to sync all your contacts across your devices
Step two: Once you are done, open the Contacts app on your Mac. After that, hold down the Command button and select all the contacts you want to delete
Step three: All you need to do now is to right-click, select Delete Cards and click Confirm

Step two: Once you are done, launch the app on your iPhone. After that, make sure that you have granted Groups access to all your contacts
Step three: You are now supposed to select All Contacts from your Groups list. All you have to do now is browse through all of your contacts and select the ones you wish to remove by tapping on the circle outline button
Step four: Once you are done, tap Choose Action at the top of the app and select Delete Contacts. After that, select Remove from my iPhone to confirm.
