Last week, Facebook launched a new feature called Messenger Day within the Messenger app. Basically, Messenger Day works similarly to Snapchat Stories and allows users to share photos and videos to their friends and families as a story that will automatically disappear after 24 hours.

Steps to use Messenger Day on your iPhone and iPad

Step one: First off, you are supposed to launch the Facebook Messenger app from your home screen and tap on the shutter button located at the bottom center of the app

Step two: Next up, you need to hold on the shutter button to record video or simply tap on it to take a picture. You can tap on the camera button at the top to switch cameras on your iPhone

Step three: Once you are done, you now can add stickers, text or even dribble on your photo with the help of three buttons located at the top-right corner of the screen including emoji, text and dribble buttons. If you want to remove text or sticker from your photo, you simply need to hold and drag it to recycle bin at the top center of the screen

Step four: Once you are done, tap on the Save button at the bottom right corner of the screen. If you want to share your photo, you simply need to tap on the arrow button at the bottom left corner

Step five: You are now supposed to select the person or group you wish to share your photo with and tap on the Send button

That’s it! Remember that your shared photo will automatically disappear after 24 hours, so make sure that the recipient makes the most of it.
