How to convert a photo into a PDF file on your iPhone and iPad

If you now have a ton of photos on your iPhone or iPad, then at some point you may have wanted to turn your photos into PDF for different purposes. Fortunately, Apple allows users to convert any photo into a PDF so you can share it over email, Messages, and social media.

The method used to covert an iPhone or iPad photo into PDF may be unknown to many folks. With that in mind, we are here to help. We are going to go through the steps to convert a photo into a PDF file on your iPhone and iPad. Before we get started, make sure you now have a modern version of iOS on your device to avoid bugs and errors. To update your device, open the Settings app, tap on General and hit Software Update.

How to convert a photo into a PDF file on your iPhone and iPad

Step one: First off, open the Photos app on your iPhone or iPad and then select the picture you wish to convert into PDF

Step two: Next up, hit the Sharing button. From the sharing sheet, hit the Print button at the bottom line

Step three: This will bring up the Printing screen and use your fingers to spread out the picture (you will see a preview of your picture)

Step four: You now can share your converted photo via Messages, Mail, or place it into Notes app. You can also save your photo to iCloud Drive, so you can access it across multiple devices.

If you now an iPhone with 3D Touch support, you can use the 3D Touch gesture to turn your photo into PDF file. Here is how.

Step one: Open Safari on your iPhone and then select what you want to save as a PDF file

Step two: Once you are done, hit the Sharing button at the bottom of the screen and then tap on Print

Step three: Now just simply perform a 3D Touch gesture on the preview to open up the print to PDF screen. After that, hit the Sharing button located at the bottom left corner of the screen and then select your option. You can send your PDF file through Messages, email, AirDrop, or add it to Dropbox.
