Messages ranks among the most used apps on iPhone. Apple has been working on improving its stock Messages app for years, allowing users to send photos, videos and other attachments to their friends and family. However, those attachments tend to build up over time, thus taking up a considerable amount of storage space.
Fortunately, Apple allows iPhone owners to take control of their attachments in Messages. This means that you can look back at your shared videos or photos in Messages, remove or add an attachment to your messaging thread.
In this article, we will go through the steps to remove your attachments in Messages on your iPhone. Before we get started, make sure you have a modern version of iOS on your device (iOS 10 or newer).
