iTunes serves as the quickest and safest method for transferring data between Apple devices. In this case, if you have already made an encrypted backup of your phone, you now can restore it to your new iPhone 7. Before proceeding, make sure that you now have a Lightning to USB cable and a Mac or Windows PC nearby.
Step one: First off, you need to plug your old iPhone into your Mac or Windows PC. Once you are done, launch iTunes on your computer (Make sure that you now have the latest version of iTunes on your machine)
Step two: Next up, hit the iPhone icon and then click on Back Up Now from the right side (make sure that you check the box next to Encrypt Backup and create a password for your backup)
Step three: Once you are done, unplug your old device and then remove your SIM card (make sure that you have already turned off your iPhone before moving ahead)
Step four: Once the backup process is completed, insert your SIM card into your new iPhone and switch on your device
Step five: Now, connect your new iPhone to a Mac or Windows PC. Follow the on-screen instructions to set up your new device. From the Backup screen, make sure that you hit Restore from iTunes backup
Step six: Head back to your computer and select Restore from this backup. After that, select your backup and enter your password you earlier set up. The process may take a while depending on how much data you are restoring.
