In reality, you cannot completely change how your iPhone or iPad looks, but a customized wallpaper is really something that we have been expecting from Apple for a long time.
In this tutorial, we will walk you through the steps to change the wallpaper on your iPhone and iPad. Before we begin, make sure that you are now running iOS 10 or newer.
Steps to pick a wallpaper for your iPhone and iPad
Step one: First off, you need to open the Settings app from your home screen. After that, you have to tap on Wallpaper to proceed
Step two: Next up, you now need to tap on Choose a New Wallpaper at the top. Once you are done, you now can select a photo from either Apple’s stock imagery or your photo library
Step three: Once everything is done, choose the type of wallpaper you want to use on your iPhone or iPad
Step four: You now have to select your new wallpaper, then you will get a preview mode of your iPhone lock or home screen with your chosen wallpaper
Step five: From the Preview mode, you will be presented with how you want to your image to be displayed. Your new wallpaper can be a still image, a Live photo or change perspective when you move your phone around
Step six: Tap Set and select where you want to set your new wallpaper.
Steps to adjust your wallpaper for your iPhone and iPad
If you want to change the settings of your new wallpaper, iOS allows you to easily do that. Here is how.
Step one: First off, you have to launch the Settings app from your home screen and then tap on Wallpaper
Step two: Next up, you need to tap on one of your currently-set wallpaper to access the Preview Mode. From here, you will be presented with how your image will be displayed
Step three: Once you are done, tap Set to apply the change
Steps to change the wallpaper from the Photo app
You can change your wallpaper directly from the Photos app on your iPhone, eliminating the need to head over to the Settings app. Here is how
Step one: Open the Photos app from your home screen and select the image you wish to set as wallpaper
Step two: Once you are done, tap on the Sharing button at the bottom left corner of the screen
Step three: Next up, tap Use as Wallpaper and customize your image to your liking
Step four: Once you are done, select how you want your image to be displayed, then tap Set
Step five: Select where you want to use your new wallpaper.
