With watchOS 3.2, Apple has introduced a brand new feature called Theater mode. Basically, the new mode allows Apple Watch owners to quickly the sound of their watch and disable “Raise to Wake” to avoid waking the screen with arm movement. According to Apple, you still can receive haptic notifications for alerts while in Theater mode, which can be done by tapping the screen or pressing the Digital Crown.

Step one: First off, you need to swipe up from the bottom of the Apple Watch screen to access Control Center
Step two: Next up, you will notice that there is a Theater mode option located right at the bottom of the screen. All you need to do is to tap on the icon to activate the mode on your Apple Watch
Step three: Once you have enabled Theater mode, the icon will turn orange. Besides, you will also see a small mask icon at the top of the Watch’s display
Steps to turn off Theater mode on your Apple Watch
If you find Theater mode annoying, you can easily turn it off by following our steps below.
Step one: Wake up your Apple Watch and swipe up on its screen to bring up Control Center
Step two: You now need to scroll down to the bottom of the screen and press the orange theater mask icon to turn off the mode. Once Theater mode is disabled, the icon will turn white.
