In this tutorial, we will walk you through the steps to send and receive payments with Apple Pay in iMessage on your iPhone and iPad (iOS 11). Before we begin, keep in mind that peer-to-peer payment feature is not available in developer beta of iOS 11. The feature will officially launch alongside new iPhones in the fall. To send and receive payments with Apple Pay in Messages, you first need to set up Apple Pay on your iPhone and iPad. Here is how.

Step one: First off, you need to launch the Settings app from your home screen and then tap on Wallet & Apple Pay to proceed

Step two: Once you are on, you simply need to tap on Add Credit or Debit Card and then follow the instructions to complete the task.

Once you have successfully set up Apple Pay on your iOS devices, you now can send and receive Apple Pay cash via iMessage. Here is how.

Step one: You first need to launch the Messages app from your home screen and then head to any conversation you want to send payments to

Step two: Next up, tap on the Apple Pay button from the app drawer and then enter the amount of money you wish to send to that contact

Step three: Follow the on-screen instructions to send money to your friends and pay with Touch ID.

Alternatively, you can use Apple’s virtual helper, Siri to send the money to your friends and families. Here is how.

Step one: First off, you need to trigger Siri on your device. To do this, you simply need to press and hold the home button (or say Hey Siri)

Step two: Once Siri is ready, ask her to send the money to your friends and then enter the amount of money

Step three: Follow the instructions to complete the transfer.
