iOS strives to improve every year. With iOS 10, transferring your music from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch has become easier than before. If you are now using an iPhone, iPad or iPod, then chances are that you want to transfer all your favorite music tracks to your Mac. In reality, iOS doesn’t allow you to just share your tracks from your music library, but there is a simple way to make that possible.
In this guide, we will show you how to transfer music from iPhone, iPad and iPod touch to Mac. Before we begin, the below-mentioned step-by-step guide requires you to download and install a third-party app called AnyTrans, so make sure that you have the app installed on your device. You can get the trial version of the app here
Steps to transfer music from iPhone, iPad and iPod touch to Mac with AnyTrans
Step one: Once you have downloaded the AnyTrans app, you now need to launch the app and connect your iOS device to a Mac
Step two: The app will automatically recognize your iOS device and offers a full list of what you want to do. You now need to click on the Menu button on the right edge of the window
Step three: Once you are done, click on Audio and select Music from the drop-down menu. You will then see all of your songs stored on your iOS device here and all you need to do is to select all the songs you wish to transfer to proceed
Step four: Next up, you will notice that there are two buttons at the toolbar at the top, Send to Mac and Send to iTunes
Step five: You now need to select Send to Mac, choose the destination and hit the Done button. Once you are done, you will get a pop-up window for activating the app. Click the Free Trial button on the right edge of the window to continue to use the free trial version of the app. After that, your songs will be copied over to the destination you choose on your Mac
